Welcome to the 7^th Petroleum Geology Conference. 

History of the Petroleum Geology Conference

You are invited to submit your abstract online under one of the following initial categories:

• Europe
• Russia, CIS and Circum-Arctic
• North Africa and the Middle East
• Passive Margins

The conference will also host sessions on the following topics, which are not open for abstract submittal:

• –  Unconventional Hydrocarbons
• –  Geo controversies
• –  Virtual field trip
• –  3D visualisation – practical applications

Timetable

Abstracts must be submitted online by 30^th May 2008.  An initial step in abstract submission is to register your intention to submit a paper following which you will receive a password and a unique identifier for your paper. Once registered, you can enter your abstract, up to a maximum of 500 words.  No figures are required at this stage. It is recommended that you cut and paste your abstract from a Word document rather than type the abstract in the space provided.

Authors of accepted papers will be contacted by the lead convenors for their particular session, and will be asked to submit further extended abstracts for distribution at the event itself.

Copyright of extended abstracts will remain with the author.
